The Sassafras Studio is an outlet for the work of Dwight "Tuse" Mallernee. He has been a woodworker/Artist for over 25 years. He and his wife moved to Blue Ridge, Georgia in 1994. Most of the items in the Studio are one of a kind. He also does commission work. So if there is that special piece of furniture that you would like to have built please email him with the details to get an estimate. He also designs and builds custom kitchens. After moving to Blue Ridge studied the lost art of woodcarving to incorporate it into his furniture, but it became another form of art that he got involved in.
